The Liftware Steady stabilising utensil is an electronic handle that moves its spoon or fork attachment against the motion of a shaking hand. Sensors and two motors do the work, and the maker states that the attached utensil shakes about 70% less than the hand. The handle switches on when an attachment is fitted and runs for at least one hour of continuous use per charge.
Intended for people with essential tremor or hand tremor related to Parkinson's who spill food from ordinary cutlery. It suits meals at home and, with the travel pouch in the starter kit, eating out.

The maker gives at least one hour of continuous use per charge, which it equates to about three meals. The handle recharges on the supplied dock.
A soup spoon attachment comes with the handle. An everyday spoon, a fork and a spork are sold as additional attachments.
Only the utensil attachments. The handle holds the electronics, so it must not be submerged or put in a dishwasher; wipe it with a damp sponge or an antibacterial wipe.
