Quickie is a wheelchair brand of Sunrise Medical. Sunrise Medical's company page lists Quickie as its brand for manual and power wheelchairs and power-assist wheels, next to other brands such as Zippie, JAY and RGK. The company says it makes manual and powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters and seating and positioning systems, with manufacturing sites in 10 countries, sales offices in 24 and distribution in 130. Its North American site gives an address in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.
The catalog lists Quickie in eight categories, from everyday manual chairs such as the Nitrum and Quickie 2, through the IRIS tilt-in-space chair, to the Q500 R Sedeo Pro and Q700 M power chairs, plus axles, footrests, cushions, backrests and accessories. Most Quickie chairs are built to order from a measurement and option form, so a quote depends on seat size, frame choices and seating. Power chairs and positioning chairs are normally specified with a therapist or seating specialist.
