The BrainRobotics Kneuro is a microprocessor hydraulic knee that changes its resistance automatically for stairs, slopes and walking speed, using a network of internal sensors. It supports step-over-step stair climbing and walk-to-run transitions and has stumble recovery. The knee weighs 1.6 kg, charges by USB-C and lasts about five days at 5,000 steps a day. Its IP67 rating covers fresh water to 1 metre for 30 minutes.
Spans K2 to K4, from limited community walkers to highly active transfemoral users, with a weight limit of 330 lb. The clinician programmes it through an app, so selection and setup happen with a prosthetist.
This kind of device is prescribed and fitted by a clinician. An enquiry starts that conversation. It is not a purchase.
