Össur · Microprocessor ankle feet · PR-011
The Össur Proprio Foot microprocessor ankle is a prosthetic foot that moves its own ankle. A powered, microprocessor-controlled joint changes the angle of the foot during walking and is combined with a Pro-Flex carbon foot for energy return. Össur describes the ankle as waterproof. We did not capture the weight limit or battery figures from the maker's page, so these are supplied with the quote.
For lower-limb amputees who want the ankle angle to adjust by itself while walking, without manual settings. Suitability, fitting and programming are handled by a prosthetist trained on the device.
This kind of device is prescribed and fitted by a clinician. An enquiry starts that conversation. It is not a purchase.

A plain carbon foot only flexes. The Proprio Foot has a microprocessor ankle that actively changes the foot's position, mounted on a Pro-Flex carbon foot.
Össur describes it as a waterproof microprocessor ankle. Ask your prosthetist about depth and water type limits before swimming.
