The Ottobock bebionic Hand EQD 8E70 is a multi-articulating myoelectric bionic hand with an individual motor in each finger. It has 14 grips and hand positions, of which the wearer selects eight, and speed is proportional for delicate work. It comes in small and medium, black or white, with three wrist variants of different heights. It is not waterproof and typically runs about one day per charge.
For upper-limb amputees with usable muscle signals who want varied grips for daily tasks and are happy to keep the hand dry. A prosthetist chooses size and wrist and programmes the grips.
This kind of device is prescribed and fitted by a clinician. An enquiry starts that conversation. It is not a purchase.
