Ekso Bionics Ekso EVO spring-powered upper-body exoskeleton

Last updated: 5 October 2026

The Ekso Bionics Ekso EVO upper-body exoskeleton holds up the arms during chest-level and overhead work using gas springs, so there is nothing to charge. Each arm gets 5 to 15 lb (2.2 to 6.8 kg) of lift assistance, and a different spring level can be chosen for the left and the right. A stacked-link arm follows the elbow through its range, and the open back leaves space for a fall harness.
