SUITX by Ottobock · Passive shoulder support · EX-057
The SUITX by Ottobock IX SHOULDER AIR passive shoulder exoskeleton supports the arms during overhead work without any motor. It weighs 2 kg, fits people from 160 to 190 cm tall and takes under 25 seconds to put on or take off, helped by a reverse magnetic clasp. Size adjustments are labelled and need no tools, and the textiles come off for washing. It follows the Ottobock Shoulder (2022) and the Paexo Shoulder (2018).
IX SHOULDER AIR is for workers who spend long periods with their arms raised doing repetitive overhead tasks. It is occupational equipment and is not a medical device for shoulder conditions.
This kind of device is prescribed and fitted by a clinician. An enquiry starts that conversation. It is not a purchase.
