The Fillauer TRS Black Iron Master is a weightlifting terminal device that clamps onto a bar or handle and stays locked until you release it by hand. It is built from aircraft-grade aluminium with steel hardware and thick rubber pads, and carries a load rating of 1,650 lb (750 kg). A swinging gate closed by a wing nut holds the grip, and the half-inch threaded stud fits most standard wrists.
Made for upper-limb prosthesis users who train with free weights and gym machines: bench press, dumbbell flys, dead lifts and pull-downs are the uses TRS names. Because it does not release by itself, talk through the set-up with your prosthetist first.
This kind of device is prescribed and fitted by a clinician. An enquiry starts that conversation. It is not a purchase.
