Fillauer (TRS) · Activity-specific terminal devices · PR-067
The Fillauer TRS Freestyle Swimming Device is a prosthetic swim paddle with two wings that spread open when you pull through the water and fold back as the arm recovers. The paddle can be rotated to suit different strokes, and the wings can be fixed open for treading water or water aerobics. It comes in one adult size, in translucent white, and can be cut down in a workshop.
Intended for swimmers with an upper-limb difference who train or compete and already have, or plan to have, a custom swimming prosthesis. The paddle is only the end piece, so your prosthetist needs to build the socket it attaches to.
This kind of device is prescribed and fitted by a clinician. An enquiry starts that conversation. It is not a purchase.
