Fourier · Clinical / rehabilitation gait exoskeletons · EX-011
The Fourier ExoMotus M4 is a powered exoskeleton with hip and knee motors that is attached to a wheeled frame, so the patient does not have to balance alone. The frame moves up and down with the wearer, which allows sit-to-stand practice as well as walking. Fourier builds the servo motors itself and fits force sensors, and therapists or researchers can configure the interface. It is for indoor floors or paved surfaces.
For rehabilitation facilities that want overground gait and sit-to-stand training without crutches, and for research groups needing an exoskeleton platform. It is an institutional device, operated by clinical or research staff.
This kind of device is prescribed and fitted by a clinician. An enquiry starts that conversation. It is not a purchase.

A few powered exoskeletons are cleared for use at home, mostly for spinal cord injury, on prescription and with a trained companion. Most others stay in clinics.
