FREE Bionics · Personal-use exoskeletons (spinal cord injury) · EX-003
The FREE Bionics FREE Walk is a powered lower-limb exoskeleton from Taiwan that helps a person with weak legs stand up, walk and sit down while balancing on crutches. The device weighs 20 kg and takes users from 150 to 190 cm tall and up to 100 kg. One charge is listed at two hours, with a top speed of 2 km/h. The legs open to make getting in easier.
For people with spinal cord injury, stroke, nerve damage or general leg weakness who have enough arm strength to manage crutches. It is custom fitted. Training and the decision to use it rest with a rehabilitation clinician.
This kind of device is prescribed and fitted by a clinician. An enquiry starts that conversation. It is not a purchase.
