The R-net power wheelchair control system is published by the Industrial Division of Curtiss-Wright Corporation. Wikipedia records Curtiss-Wright as a US engineering company formed in 1929 and headquartered in Davidson, North Carolina. The division's medical mobility pages list R-net, the VR2 wheelchair controller, newVSI, the S-Drive scooter controller, programmers and gauges. The catalog also carries the name PG Drives Technology for these products, which the fetched pages did not mention, so that link and the UK origin are not confirmed here.
The catalog lists three R-net components under drive controls, motors and controllers: the CJSM2 joystick module, the Omni2 speciality control interface and the PM2 140A power module. These are parts of a chair's electronics and must match the system and programming of the specific wheelchair. Replacement and set-up are normally done by the wheelchair maker's service provider with a programming tool. When asking for a quote, give the chair make, model and serial number and the part number on the existing module.
