About Therafin

Therafin Corporation is a family-owned and operated company founded in 1968 by Gilbert "Gibb" Fink, an occupational therapist. According to its own history page, it is based in Frankfort, Illinois, where it manufactures seating and positioning products using CNC routers and hand finishing. Its range covers wheelchair trays and seating parts, positioning accessories such as foot supports and harnesses, transfer boards, therapy equipment and aids for independent living.

The catalog lists five Therafin items across seat cushions, footrests, armrests and side guards, and everyday accessories. Examples are the Drop Seat Insert, Toe Straps, the Premium Calf Panel, the Amputee Support with Pad and a black lap tray with EZ Lock clamps. Many of these parts are sized to the chair, so have the seat width, seat depth and frame tube diameter ready when asking for a quote, and confirm the part number, since several items come in more than one size.
