RehaDesign Brella Buddy Hands-Free Umbrella Holder

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Brella Buddy takes a different route from frame-mounted umbrella clamps: the holder is worn on the user's chest. The umbrella shaft sits in it and both hands stay on the handrims. RehaDesign pairs it with a collapsible umbrella that has extra shaft length so the canopy clears the head. The holder and umbrella pack down to fit in a backpack.

For manual wheelchair users who self-propel and cannot spare a hand for an umbrella. Because nothing attaches to the frame, it moves with the user between chairs. Available as the holder alone, the umbrella alone, or both together.
