About Omobic
Omobic is a brand name found on wheelchair tyres and rear wheels sold by the UK retailer EPC Wheelchairs. The retailer's pages describe the products but do not say who makes them or where, and no maker website could be identified, so the company behind the brand, its country and its history are not confirmed. The retailer describes the Trailblazer tyre as having a fine block tread and a puncture protection layer, and the Tensio Ray wheel as a 24 inch wheel with twelve fibre spokes.
The catalog lists four Omobic items under wheels, handrims and tires: the Speedlite and Trailblazer tyres in 24 x 1 (25-540), the Tensio Ray Classic 24 inch wheel and the Offroad Voyager 24 inch fat wheel. When asking for a quote, give the exact ETRTO size printed on your current tyre, and for wheels give the axle diameter and the hub fitting of your chair. The retailer prices the Trailblazer tyre singly, so say whether you need one or a pair.
