The hardest moment in fitting a tire is the last few centimetres of bead. The Bead Jack is an articulated tool made for that step. Its rigid part rests on one rim edge as a fulcrum while the hinged end hooks the bead and lifts it up and over the opposite edge. Because the tool works from outside the tire, it is less likely to trap the inner tube than a lever pushed under the bead.
