The Park Tool TL-1.2C is a set of three composite levers with a narrow, thick tip that slides under the tire bead and a hook that catches a spoke to hold the lever while you work with the next one. They handle most pneumatic tires. Very stiff puncture-protected or solid tires may call for a longer steel-core lever.
Does the spoke hook work on composite-spoke wheels?
The hook is made for wire spokes. On other wheel types simply hold the lever by hand.
Can they scratch aluminium rims?
Composite is softer than aluminium, which lowers the risk of marking the rim.
