Schwalbe DownTown 24 x 1 3/8 wheelchair tire
The Schwalbe DownTown is a general-purpose tire for manual wheelchairs with 540 mm rims. It runs at a moderate 50 to 70 psi, which gives a wider, softer contact patch than narrow high-pressure tires. A K-Guard layer under the tread adds puncture protection, and the 2Grip sidewall texture is shaped to be comfortable against the hand when it touches the tire during pushing.
