Even spoke tension is what keeps a wheel round and durable, and it cannot be judged reliably by hand. The TM-1 clamps onto a spoke and gives a reading that is converted to kilograms-force with the printed table or the maker's app. It reads round and bladed steel spokes, selected aluminum and titanium sizes, Spinergy PBO spokes and Mavic R2R carbon spokes. A small gauge for six round spoke diameters is included.
