Schwalbe DV/SV to AV Valve Adapter
Schwalbe labels its valves AV for Schrader, SV for Presta and DV for Dunlop. This universal adapter screws onto an SV or DV valve and presents an AV fitting to the pump, so a tube with either of those valves can be filled from a Schrader head. What is a Dunlop valve?
A valve type common in parts of Europe and Asia, about as wide as a Schrader valve but with a different top. Schwalbe codes it DV.
Does it also work the other way round?
No. It adapts DV and SV valves to an AV pump head, not an AV valve to a Presta pump.
Is it the same as a Presta adapter?
It does that job and, according to the maker, also fits Dunlop valves.
