Slime Tube Sealant is a liquid based on the maker's Fibro-Seal fibre technology that you squeeze into the inner tube through the valve after removing the valve core. As the wheel turns it coats the inside of the tube, and when something pierces the tread the fibres plug the hole. Slime states that it seals punctures up to 1/8 in, or 3 mm, for up to two years. The cap doubles as a valve core tool.
Suits users with repeated thorn or small-nail punctures who do not want to change tires or tubes. It needs a valve with a removable core, which most Schrader tubes have. Use the maker's calculator to find the dose for small wheelchair tubes.
