Switch-It Dual Pro head array for power wheelchairs
The Switch-It Dual Pro head array, from Sunrise Medical, lets a person drive a power wheelchair with head movement in one of three ways: switched, proportional or a hybrid of both. Switched sensing reacts to the head coming within 10 mm of a pad, while proportional driving responds to pressure. Dealers and clinicians program it directly from the back pad.

What is the difference between switched and proportional head control?
In switched mode the chair moves when the head comes near a pad, at a set speed. In proportional mode, pressing harder on a pad changes speed and gives 360 degree turning and veering control.
