A sling seat sags in the middle, which tilts the pelvis and lets a cushion fold. The AliMed Wheelchair Board is a simple wooden insert, three eighths of an inch high, that lies on the sling and gives the cushion a level surface. The surface resists moisture and the edges are rounded and smooth. Five sizes cover seat widths from 18 to 22 inches, and each board weighs between 3 and 3.5 lb.
