The GRIT Junior is a child-sized lever-drive all-terrain wheelchair that can be adjusted as the rider grows. Like the adult GRIT chair, it is driven by push levers and chains, here with 20 in mountain bike rear wheels and a 9 in front wheel. It weighs 43 lb, splits so the heaviest piece is 20 lb, and uses an Invacare Matrx Mini seatback.
For children who want to ride off-road with family and friends on trails, grass, sand or snow, using their own arm power. The seat adjusts with growth, so one chair covers several years.
