The HealthCraft SuperPole is a floor-to-ceiling pole that gives a vertical hand-hold beside a bed, toilet, bath or chair. It is tensioned between floor and ceiling with a jackscrew, so nothing is drilled. The standard pole supports 300 lb and the bariatric version 450 lb. It fits ceilings of 93 to 99 in, or up to 120 in with an extender. Prices are quoted on request.

No. A jackscrew presses it between floor and ceiling. The ceiling plate has to extend across at least one joist.
